Nijntje Pluis, het hoofdpersonage in de serie kinderprentenboeken van Dick Bruna, komt in 2013 in de bioscoopzalen. Dat maakte producent Warner Bros Nederland dinsdag bekend.
De film vertelt het verhaal van Nijntje die met haar vriendjes allerlei avonturen beleeft in de dierentuin.
Deze week is er gestart met de productie. Vanaf januari 2013 zal de film in de zalen te zien zijn. De regie is in handen van Hans Perk.
