Le Journal du Dimanche wist de regisseur te fotograferen in zijn chalet (foto) in Gstaad, waar de man in huisarrest zit. Polanski wil dat er 10.000 euro op tafel wordt gelegd.
Van Voici en Le Parisien worden respectievelijk 10.000 en 75.000 euro geëist.
