De Amerikaanse site LIFE.com heeft recent ontdekte privéfoto's van Hitlers vriendin en vrouw voor een dag Eva Braun online gezet. Op de foto's is de Duitse te zien in haar jonge jaren, op vakanties en poserend voor officiële familiefoto's.
In 1945 kwam de privécollectie in het bezit van het Amerikaanse leger. Verzamelaar en curator Reinhard Schulz bracht de 31 foto's recent in de openbaarheid en nu staan ze zelfs online.
