Het gsm-verkeer op en rond het festivalterrein van Pukkelpop is ernstig verstoord. De beste manier om familie en of vrienden te laten weten dat u OK bent, is via Twitter met de hashtag #ppok. Op Facebook is er een groep aangemaakt waarop mensen een bericht kunnen achterlaten voor de thuisblijvers.
