Regi Penxten is vandaag vader geworden van een dochtertje. Ellie Martha heet ze. Het is het eerste kindje voor Regi en vriendin Elke Vanelderen. Ellie Martha is 50 cm groot en weegt 3,480 kg.
Vorig jaar stapten Regi en Elke in het huwelijksbootje. Drie maanden later, in augustus, raakte bekend dat het koppel een eerste kindje verwachtte.
