Sean Connery heeft maandag “Being a Scot” gepresenteerd in Edinburgh. De 78-jarige Schotse acteur koos zijn verjaardag uit om zijn autobiografisch boek voor te stellen.
In zijn boek vertelt Connery over zijn leven als acteur en zijn eerste job als melkboer. Maar ook de Schotse geschiedenis en cultuur komen aan bod. Sean Connery steekt niet onder stoelen of banken dat hij een overtuigd Schots nationalist is.
De ex-James Bond is ondertussen verhuisd naar de Bahama’s en zal pas terugkeren naar zijn thuisland als het onafhankelijk is van het Verenigd Koninkrijk. (KC)
