Het Spaanse accent is het 'meest sexy accent er wereld'. Dat blijkt uit een onderzoek van de reissite Lonely Planet, die meer dan 700 personen vroeg welk dialect hen het meest kon bekoren.
Het Spaanse accent uit Mexico en Colombia is het meest aantrekkelijk. Ook het Franse en Ierse accent doen het goed.
Het minst populaire accent is het Canadees. Het Nederlands komt niet in de top tien voor.
