Benito Raman heeft deelgenomen aan de online audities van het VTM-programma 'The Voice van Vlaanderen 2012'. De 17-jarige spits van AA Gent zingt voor zijn webcam 'Laat de zon in je hart' van Willy Sommers.
Of Benito de blind auditions zal bereiken, is twijfelachtig. De computer gaf hem slechts een schamele 2,95/10. Wat ons betreft, overstijgen zijn voetbalkwaliteiten gelukkig nog altijd zijn zangtalent. Oordeel zelf:
