Werchter Boutique op 28 mei in het Festivalpark in Werchter is uitverkocht. Alle 52.000 kaartjes zijn de deur uit. Het festival staat dit jaar in het teken van harde rock en metal.
Headliner is Metallica, dat onder meer zijn magnus opus "Metallica" uit 1991 (ook gekend als The Black Album) integraal zal spelen. Op de affiche staan voorts Soundgarden, Mastodon, Channel Zero, Gojira en Ghost.
