De Italiaan Andreas Seppi (ATP 25) heeft zondag het ATP-toernooi in het Russische Moskou (hard/673.150 dollar) op zijn naam geschreven. In de finale versloeg het tweede reekshoofd de Braziliaan Thomaz Bellucci (ATP 41) met 3-6, 7-6 (7/3) en 6-3.
Voor de 28-jarige Seppi is het zijn derde ATP-toernooizege (na Belgrado '12 en Eastbourne '11). Bellucci (24) probeerde in zijn vijfde finale zijn vierde titel te veroveren.
