Arsenal gaat in beroep tegen de rode kaart die verdediger Thomas Vermaelen zaterdag kreeg tijdens de match tegen West Ham United (2-0). Dat maakt de Engelse voetbalbond FA maandag bekend.
Rode Duivel Vermaelen kreeg rood van de scheidsrechter nadat hij Guillermo Franco in het strafschopgebied onderuithaalde.
De voetbalbond gaat de zaak dinsdag bekijken.
