De ervaren doelman Daniel Aranzubia ruilt degradant Deportivo La Coruna voor Atletico Madrid, zo maakten beide clubs dinsdag bekend.
De 33-jarige Aranzubia wordt in de Spaanse hoofdstad de doublure van Rode Duivel Thibaut Courtois, die opnieuw een seizoen wordt gehuurd van Chelsea.
Aranzubia begon zijn carrière bij Athletic Bilbao en trok in 2008 naar Deportivo. De Spanjaard speelde in 2004 een keer voor de nationale ploeg (tegen Andorra).
