Barcelona-middenvelder Sergio Busquets is dinsdag door de Europese voetbalbond UEFA voor twee duels geschorst na zijn rode kaart tegen Benfica in de Champions League. De Spanjaard pakte rood in de 88ste minuut na een overtreding op Maxi Pereira.
Barcelona heeft nog drie dagen tijd om in beroep te gaan tegen de beslissing van de UEFA. Als het dat niet doet, mist Busquets in ieder geval de dubbele confrontatie tegen Celtic Glasgow in de groepsfase.
