Er was zondag opschudding bij de start van de nationale titelrace voor beloften op het BK veldrijden op de hippodroom in Waregem. Wegens het veroorzaken van een duidelijke valse start werd topfavoriet Wout Van Aert meteen uit de koers gezet.
Om 15u rijden de profs en de eliterenners zonder contract hun BK.
