Op het WK tijdrijden in Geelong heeft de Britse Emma Pooley het goud veroverd. Ze was sneller dan de Duitse Judith Arndt (Dui) en de Nieuw-Zeelandse Linda Villumsen. Onze landgenote Grace Verbeke werd 22ste.
