De Chileense international Roberto Cereceda heeft positief getest op cocaïne. De verdediger, momenteel met de nationale ploeg op doortocht in de Emiraten, riskeert twee jaar schorsing.
De tegenexpertise bevestigde de eerste positieve test, die op 17 augustus na een wedstrijd in de Copa Sudamericana afgenomen werd. Dat meldt de Zuid-Amerikaanse voetbalbond.
Colo Colo, de club van Cereceda, werd inmiddels op de hoogte gebracht.
