De Belgen kennen hun tegenstanders voor de eerste ronde van Roland Garros in Parijs. Kim Clijsters (WTA-2) krijgt de Wit-Russische Anastasia Jakimova (WTA-100) tegenover zich.
Yanina Wickmayer (WTA-22) moet het opnemen tegen de Roemeense Monica Niculescu (WTA-45). Het is wel afwachten of Wickmayer Roland Garros haalt want donderdag viel ze op het WTA-toernooi van Brussel na twee games uit met een rugblessure.
Bij de mannen mag Xavier Malisse (ATP-40) zich opmaken voor een duel tegen de Rus Dmitri Toersoenov (ATP-75). Olivier Rochus (ATP-74) moet in de eerste ronde spelen tegen de Duitser Tobias Kamke (ATP-76).
De opponente van Kirsten Flipkens (WTA-96) is nog niet bekend en ook Steve Darcis (ATP-133), die zich eerder op de dag plaatste voor Roland Garros, kent zijn tegenstander nog niet.
