Thibaut Courtois trainde dinsdagavond met zijn club Atlético Madrid in het Nationaal Stadion van Boekarest. Woensdagavond speelt hij in de schitterende voetbaltempel met meer dan 50.000 zitjes de finale van de Europa League. Tegenstander is het Baskische Athletic Club uit Bilbao.
"Zenuwachtig ben ik niet, maar naarmate de aftrap dichterbij komt, zullen de kriebels wel een beetje opduiken", vertelde Courtois ons. Atlético lijkt favoriet, maar Courtois blijft voorzichtig. "Ik geef ons 50% kans", zegt hij.
