Ook Arnaud Ghislain kon zich in Nijvel voor het EK plaatsen. Hij liep de 400 meter in 46"43. Daarmee bleef hij met 32 honderdste seconde onder de EK-limiet voor atleten onder 23 jaar.
De 21-jarige Ghislain is al onze derde landgenoot die zich plaatst voor de 400 meter. Eerder slaagden Jonathan en Kevin Borlée daarin.
