Steven Defour trouwde zaterdag, een dag na de 1-1 tegen Turkije, met Irene Mbisdikis. Na de plechtigheid in het gemeentehuis van Houthalen-Helchteren was het de bedoeling dat de families naar Schelle trokken met negen limousines voor het feest.
Twee auto's vielen onderweg echter in panne. Ze moesten een uur lang langs de kant van de weg wachten op hulp.
