Net als dit jaar wordt de Diamond League in2011 afgesloten met een meeting in Brussel. Op vrijdag 16 september zullen alle atleten zich voor de Memorial Ivo Van Damme begeven naar het Koning Boudewijnstadion.
De Internationale Atletiekfederatie maakte vandaag haar agenda voor de Diamond League, de opvolger van de Golden League, bekend.
De aftrap wordt ook nu weer gegeven in Doha op 6 mei. Daarna trekken de atleten naar Shanghai (15 mei), Rome (26 mei), Eugene (4 juni), Oslo (9 juni), New York (11 juni), Lausanne (30 juni), Parijs (8 juli), Birmingham (10 juli), Monaco (22 juli), Stockholm (29 juli), Londen (5-6 augustus) en Zürich (8 september).
De laatste meeting vindt, net als tijdens de vorige editie, plaats in Brussel.
