De Servische titelverdediger Novak Djokovic heeft zich woensdag zonder problemen geplaatst voor de derde ronde op Wimbledon, het derde grandslamtoernooi van het seizoen.
's Werelds nummer één haalde het in de tweede ronde in drie sets (driemaal 6-4) van de 20-jarige Amerikaan Ryan Harrison (ATP 48).
In de derde ronde neemt hij het op tegen de winnaar van het duel tussen het Tsjechische 28ste reekshoofd Radek Stepanek (ATP 27) en de Duitser Benjamin Becker (ATP 124).
