De 18-jarige schansspringer raakte 112,5 meter ver, alvorens uit te schuiven en te vallen. Vervolgens bleef hij bewusteloos liggen, waarna de hulpdiensten in actie schoten.
De jongeman kwam kort daarna weer bij bewustzijn maar werd uit voorzorg toch naar het ziekenhuis gebracht.
