Xavier Malisse (ATP-45) is uitgeschakeld in het enkelspel van het ATP-toernooi in Miami. De Fransman Michael Llodra (ATP-25) was te sterk voor onze landgenoot in de tweede ronde. Het werd 6-2 en 6-3.
Voor Malisse rest wel nog het dubbelspel in Miami. Daarin speelt hij aan de zijde van Jamie Murray.
Vorige week won de West-Vlaming nog het dubbelspel op Indian Wells met zijn Oekraïense partner Alexandr Dolgopolov. Daarvoor versloegen ze het Zwitserse topduo Roger Federer-Stanislas Wawrinka.
