Dat maakte FIFA-secretaris-generaal Jerome Valcke zaterdag nog maar eens duidelijk vlak nadat hij vergaderd had met de commissie die bevoegd is voor de regels. "De vraag is of we de techniek in het voetbal moeten toelaten. Het antwoord is duidelijk: neen!"
Er komt dus geen chip in de bal en ook een camera op de doellijn is (nog) niet aan de orde.
