Berrier begon twee seizoenen geleden bij Zulte Waregem en werd vooral bekend door zijn vele assists. Mede dankzij hem kwam de club in de play-offs terecht, maar Berrier zelf moest forfait geven door een knieblessure.
Normaal gezien zou de middenvelder nog tot 2013 bij Zulte blijven, maar hij verhuist nu toch naar Luik.
