Onze landgenote An-Sophie Mestach heeft zich geplaatst voor de halve finales op het juniorestoernooi van de Australian Open. De 16-jarige Gentse won haar kwartfinale tegen de Montenegrijnse Kovinic met 6-1, 6-3.
Ze speelt voor een finaleplaats tegen de Française Garcia.
