Club Brugge beëindigde de wedstrijd tegen Zulte met tien spelers nadat scheidsrechter Bourdouxhe in de zeventigste minuut rood trok voor een tackle van Geraerts.
Die actie was voer voor discussie achteraf: de tackle werd weliswaar met gestrekt been uitgevoerd, maar was wel op de bal.
