Germinal Beerschot verloor het duel tegen KV Mechelen met 1-0 en is niet te spreken over het feit dat Guillaume François en Dawid Janczyk, twee nieuwe aanwinsten, niet mochten meespelen.
Het stuit de Antwerpenaren tegen de borst dat Charleroi, dat zich in een gelijkaardige situatie bevond met ex-Racing Genk-speler Tormena Ederson, dat wel mocht doen. Daarom eisen ze om de match tegen Mechelen opnieuw te spelen, mét de twee nieuwe spelers.
