Henin moet het in de volgende ronde opnemen tegen de Russische Elena Dementieva (WTA 6). Juju speelde eerder dit jaar ook al in de tweede ronde van de Australian Open tegen Dementieva. Toen won de Belgische met 7-5, 7-6.
