Iljo Keisse mag donderdagavond dan toch starten in de Zesdaagse van Rotterdam. Keisse heeft zijn deelname afgedwongen bij de rechter en kreeg nu toch een startnummer.
De Internationale Wielerunie UCI had Keisse een startverbod opgelegd in Rotterdam en eerder ook al in Manchester.
Iljo Keisse werd in juli 2009 door het Internationaal Sporttribunaal TAS geschorst voor dopinggebruik. Een Brusselse rechter schortte die schorsing op. Volgens de UCI geldt de opschorting van de schorsing echter alleen in België.
