De Spanjaard Jesús Fernández Sáez (Suso) heeft van de Engelse voetbalbond FA een boete van 10.000 pond (ruim 12.000 euro) gekregen omdat hij zijn ploegmaat José Enrique op Twitter voor homo uitgemaakt heeft.
De 19-jarige Spanjaard reageerde in een tweet op een foto waarop Enrique met hagelwitte tanden was afgebeeld. "Wat doet hij toch? Deze jongen is homo", stelde Suso. "Hij doet alles, behalve voetballen."

Even later verwijderde Suso de tweet en verontschuldigde hij al voor zijn reactie. De tuchtcommissie van de FA noemde het gedrag van de Spanjaard opgepast.
