De 31-jarige Kroaat komt momenteel uit voor Germinal Beerschot, maar komt daar niet veel meer aan spelen toe. Bij Lokeren moet daar verandering in komen.
Voor Lokeren is het de tweede aanwinst op korte tijd; recent werd ook Emilio Ferrera gestrikt als trainer. De club hoopt zo degradatie uit eerste klasse te vermijden.
