De Duitse ex-voetballer Lothar Matthäus gaat het nationale elftal van Bulgarije trainen.
Bij de Bulgaren volgt hij Stanimir Stoilov op. Die achtte het zelf tijd om op te krassen na de 4-0 vernedering tegen Montenegro.
Matthäus heeft een contract voor één jaar getekend met de Bulgaarse voetbalbond.
