Luca Brecel heeft zijn openingswedstrijd op het achtste en laatste European Tour snookertoernooi, dat plaatsvindt in het Poolse Gdynia, niet overleefd.
De 18-jarige Limburger ging in de 1/64e finales (vierde ronde) met 4-1 onderuit tegen Jamie Rhys Clark uit Wales. Hij won het openingsframe, maar maakte daarna te veel missers en verloor vier frames op rij.
