François Lecat (links op de foto) heeft een contract voor drie seizoenen ondertekend bij Noliko Maaseik. Dat meldt de landskampioen in het volleybal dinsdag op zijn website.
De receptie-hoekspeler wordt volgende maand 20 jaar en is 2 meter groot. De Brusselaar komt over van concurrent Asse-Lennik.
Lecat genoot zijn spelersopleiding bij Guibertin, trainde in die periode reeds op geregelde basis bij Maaseik, voordat hij tijdens het vorige seizoen bij het Nederlandse STV Tilburg (satellietploeg van Maaseik) aantrad. Het huidige seizoen is hij een vaste waarde bij Euphony Asse-Lennik.
