Op het lastige WK-parcours in het Tsjechische Tabor haalde de 22-jarige Vos het voor de Duitse Hanka Kupfernagel en haar landgenote Daphny van den Brand. Aan de streep had Vos een bonus van 45 seconden op Kupfernagel.
Vos bemachtigde de regenboogtrui al eens in 2006 en 2009.
