De beide Fransen speelden vrij onverwacht de finale. Benneteau was in de halve finale verrassend sterker dan Jo-Wilfried Tsonga (ATP-9), terwijl Llodra eerder deze week Roland Garros-finalist Söderling (ATP-8) versloeg.
De 29-jarige Llodra steekt door de zege zijn vierde ATP-titel op zak.
