De Pro League heeft vrijdag op zijn algemene vergadering zoals verwacht Michel Dupont als nieuwe voorzitter aangeduid. Dat maakte de Pro league in een persbericht bekend.
Dupont is de opvolger van interimaris José Zurstrassen, die Ronny Verhelst in maart opvolgde. Verhelst kondigde eind februari zijn afscheid als voorzitter aan omdat hij in Duitsland de verkoop van zijn bedrijf Tele Columbus moest regelen.
