In het verleden moest Club ook al een boete betalen wegens wangedrag door de eigen supporters. De UEFA houdt rekening met eerdere overtredingen. Hierdoor leiden extra inbreuken tot hogere boetes.
Club Brugge roept zijn fans dan ook op om zich in de toekomst steeds correct te gedragen.
