Rafael Nadal heeft het graveltornooi in het Mexicaanse Acapulco gewonnen. De Spanjaard klopte zijn landgenoot David Ferrer in twee sets met 6-0 en 6-2.
Ferrer won het tornooi de laatste drie jaren. In Acapulco was hij al negentien duels op rij ongeslagen.
