In de achtste finales namen de twee vrienden maandag de maat van de Franse tandem Michael Llodra/Julien Benneteau. Het werd twee keer 6-4.
Llodra dubbelt normaal gezien met Santoro. Dat het niet wilde vlotten met Benneteau was duidelijk te zien. Zo was er het ene communicatieprobleem na het andere.
In 2009 bereikten Moodie en Norman de finale.
