Op het sterk bezette tennistoernooi van het Amerikaanse Indian Wells heeft onze landgenoot Olivier Rochus (ATP 49) in de eerste ronde al zijn meerdere moeten erkennen in de Italiaan Andreas Seppi (ATP 46). Na 2 uur en 6 minuten werd het 4-6, 6-3 en 6-4.
