William Owusu is de nieuwste aanwinst van Westerlo. De 21-jarige Ghanese spits komt over van de Portugese topclub Sporting.
Ook vorig seizoen was Owusu al te bewonderen op de Belgische voetbalvelden. Toen speelde hij op uitleenbasis bij Cercle Brugge.
Owusu maakte zes doelpunten voor Cercle, maar wisselde mooie goals af met onbegrijpelijke missers.
