Wegens gebrek aan aanvallend ingestelde spelers doet Olympique Marseille beroep op de 27-jarige postbode Fabrice Apruzesse. Enkele spelers van de voetbalploeg haakten één voor één af wegens blessures. Om niet zonder aanvaller te zitten, hield coach Elie Baup de spits van het tweede elftal achter de hand.
De postbode trainde maar één week samen met de A-kern. Tijdens de wedstrijd tegen Bordeaux op zondag mocht hij twintig minuten spelen, goed voor één goede pass, twee mislukte acties én een gele kaart. Marseille ging met 1-0 ten onder.
