De Britse prins William vergezelt op 2 december de delegatie die naar Zürich, de hoofdzetel van wereldvoetbalbond FIFA, afreist. Daar zal dan bekend worden gemaakt wie het WK in 2018 en in 2022 mag organiseren.
Naast prins William zullen ook de Britse premier David Cameron en voetballegendes David Beckham en Gary Lineker de delegatie vervoegen.
