Volgens de Franse sportkrant L'Équipe rijdt Davide Rebellin volgend jaar voor Katusha. De 40-jarige Italiaan kwam in mei uit dopingschorsing en won bij Miche-Guerciotti in augustus nog de Trofeo Melinda en Tre Valli Varesine.
Het ziet er dus naar uit dat Rebellin volgend seizoen aan de start zal verschijnen van de Waalse klassiekers.
Rebellin werd in 2009 geschorst wegens een positieve dopinguitslag op de Olympische Spelen een jaar eerder.
