Franck Ribéry is in een journalistenpoll uitgeroepen tot Duits voetballer van het jaar.
Ribéry (224 punten) haalde het in het referendum met grote voorsprong van Michael Ballack (115 punten) en Luca Toni (108 punten).
Zowel spelers uit de Bundesliga als Duitse voetballers in buitenlandse loondienst kunnen de titel winnen. (RV)
