Maar McEwen is dinsdag opnieuw aan het trainen geslagen en verschijnt zaterdag zoals gepland aan de start van de Montepaschi Strade Bianche in Italië.
"Ik ben gewoon extra voorzichtig omdat ik vorig jaar zoveel last heb gehad met mijn knie", zei de Australiër aan cyclingnews.
