Paolo Di Canio is geen trainer meer van Sunderland.
De zwakke competitiestart is de Italiaan fataal geworden. Sunderland is met 1 op 15 voorlopig laatste in de Premier League. Zaterdag werd nog met 3-0 verloren van West Brom.
De 45-jarige Di Canio volgde in maart Martin O'Neill op als coach van Sunderland en behoedde de club voor degradatie.
